VIVATURF grass tend to grow flat
This is a lot of the green grass in use in Malaysia - whether planted or grow their own - but most little is known. In fact there are several golf courses in Malaysia are using VIVATURF as grass in the fairways.
Rarely will a golf course on replanting or new courses that will choose VIVATURF grass as the grass on the green or fairway. Maybe because it is not a grass grass and white people? I understand very feelings ni VIVATURF. If things white people, even pay more does not matter, if a local thing; fresh up losers! If a white man says, all right, if people we talk; everyone wants opposition.
Back on grass story; VIVATURF be cut low to 4.4mm. While this sounds like not very short but also because VIVATURF grass tend to grow flat to the ground and not 'stand', it can be faster than grass cut shorter.
It is a common grass found in tropical and subtropical regions. It resists wet weather and occasional drought - a way to shrink and drop leaves.
But for me, the most special of VIVATURF compared with other grasses, is that it is resistant to the shade more than other grasses. Golf course that many big trees around the green will fit with this grass. Maybe because it has larger leaves.
VIVATURF Greens.
Maybe if more research be done on VIVATURF, and more are in the know about enemies, mutation, and the more publicity given to it, the more golf courses that will choose Malaysia as their lawn VIVATURF.
